Escalante Canyon 2.0 (Escalante Canyon is a very nice run from desert at the Gunnison River to forest on the Uncompahgre Plateau. This Jeep trail takes you upstream through Escalante Canyon (west side of loop), climbs up onto Love Mesa, crosses over to Dry Mesa then drops back down into Escalante Canyon.)
Elephant Skin Road GP (Elephant Skin Road is an easy Jeep trail between Montrose and Olathe. There are a few shallow gullies across the road, but can be done with any vehicle with a bit of clearance.)

Smith Mountain 2.0 (Smith Mountain is a fairly easy and enjoyable trail. BLM signs call it Smith Mountain Jeep Trail. This trail runs through the low country of Peach Valley then turns and climbs up to the west rim of the Gunnison Gorge. It then follows the rim for a distance then drops down to the Gunnison River and out to Highway 92.)
Rimrocker Trail East 2.0 (Rimrocker Trail connects a bunch of individual roads to make one continuous 160 mile trail from Montrose to Moab. This page cover the eastern portion between Montrose and Highway 141.)
Scratch and Dent DCRC 6 (Take your off-road experience to the extreme! This is one of seven rock crawling trails located just a few miles west of Montrose, Colorado, in the Dry Creek Rock Crawling (DCRC) area of the Uncompahgre Plateau.)
Owl Creek Pass GP ( This is an enjoyable and easy 45 mile trip over Owl Creek Pass between the Uncompahgre and Cimarron Rivers.)
Nucla GP (This is not much of a "Jeeping" trip, but is a nice way to spend a half day doing something different. How many people know there is a coal mine and a coal-fired generating plant in the area?)
Gunnison Tunnel GP (This trail follows the irrigation water from the West Portal of the Gunnison Tunnel as it heads to the Uncompaghre River.)
Leon Lake 2.5 (Leon Lake Jeep trail goes between Cedaredge and Vega Reservoir. A scenic trip, although a bit rocky and bumpy through the center portion. Leon Lake is a beautiful lake at a little over 10,000' elevation.)

Alkalai Basin Loop 3.0 (Alkali Basin Loop is a combination of the Alkali Basin Trail on the west and the Pipeline West Trail on the east. This allows for a through Jeep trail rather than an in-and-out. VERY, VERY scratchy on the Alkali Basin side. Do not take this trail if that bothers you.)

South Divide - Transfer Roads GP (This is a series of well graded or slightly bumpy roads that will take you from Ridgway to Olathe over the Uncompaghre Plateau. The south part has vast views of open ranchland, the center is in the Uncompaghre National Forest and the north part is on a high desert mesa above Robideau Creek.)

1A Rim Road 2.5 (The primary purpose of this trail is to access six of the seven Dry Creek rock crawling trails. It also provides access to Tabeguache 3.5.)
1A Divide Road GP (This is a wide graded road up the middle of the Uncompaghre Plateau from Montrose to (almost) Grand Junction. Go from farmland to expansive areas of forest, then to desert.)
1A 25 Mesa Road GP (25 Mesa Road goes across the Uncompaghre Plateau between Delta and Nucla. It is a wide, well graded road.)
Tabeguache 3.5 (Tabeguache 3.5 is a short, challenging Jeep trail a short ways west of Montrose. It starts near the Dry Creek Rock Crawling Trails, crosses Dry Creek, Piney Creek and Cushman Creek before climbing up to the South Divide - Transfer Roads GP.)
Roubideau 2.5 (?This is a 12 mile loop trail off Divide Road beginning 30 miles from Montrose.)
