These fees help offset the club's costs of providing firewood for the stoves, cabin maintenance and upgrades, and snow plowing of the access road. BC Parks does NOT provide firewood, cabin maintenance, or snow plowing of the access road. Please pay your fee by: mailing payment in one of the envelopes provided in the cabins or at the parking lot paying in person at the Shell Station in Wilson Creek (at Field Road in the IGA mall) using the Pay Now button on our Membership & Cabin Payments page (you do not need a Paypal account) Cabins The four cabins were built to accommodate 12, are always open, and are NOT reservable. On weekends and especially during holidays in the winter they are often VERY busy, but the summer sees fewer overnight visitors. They are located at Batchelor Lake, above Edwards Lake, between McNair and Chapman Lakes, and below the summit of Mt. Steele (see our MAPS PAGE). Each cabin has: a table and bench seating for 12 a sleeping loft upstairs ?10-12 mattress pads a wood stove and firewood, tools a snow-melting pot sinks for dishwashing greywater buckets an outhouse You must bring: all your sleeping gear food equipment (stove, dishes, cutlery) toilet paper fire starter (newspaper and matches/lighter) water purifying system if you don't intend to boil your water Consider bringing: cloths or disposable/burnable towels to wipe counters and clean dishes dish detergent an extra bag or two to pack out garbage left behind by people less conscientious than you
