Just start typing the description (first sentence) from the Notes section for each of the campsites on this map and the pulldown will self-populate. The Sections in this map are based on the sections arranged in Elizabeth Wenk's popular guide book "John Muir Trail". The "Itinerary Location Name" is given for each site as well as the approximate JMT mile marker (SOBO). NOTE: The location of the icons on this map are not necessarily where a camp site is precisely located! In the case of JMT Mile ranges (such as "Mile 195 to 200"), a campsite icon is placed at the most popular location to camp. Follow all Wilderness Regulations when selecting your site on arrival.
