This map is for the South San Juan Del Norte Wilderness (Nat Geo #142). I planned a ~33 mile lollipop route (the first 6 miles are repeated). It is 6 day, 5 night. You could definitely make it much bigger easily. Night 1- Blue Lake (6 miles) Night 2 - Green Lake (5.5 miles) Night 3 - Junction of 724 and 726 (4 miles) Night 4 - Twin, Glacier or Timber Lake (Glacier is the highest @ 11,942') ( 5.25, 5.5, or 6.25 miles- depends on the lake) Night 5- Blue Lake again, or the junction of 712 and 718 (~5 miles if staying at BL, ~8-9 miles if traveling to junction) - depending on where you stayed the night before) Hike out 6 miles if staying at Blue Lake the night before or 2 miles on the last day by staying at the junction. I am driving back to Denver, so I am deciding if I want to hike 2 or 6 miles and then drive the 6 hours home. First time I have ever done a map like this; never been in this area before
