2 day (1 night) backpacking loop with an up-and-back quick hike just using a hip-pack. Approx 15 miles total.
Eaglesmeare to Day 1 camp (After lunch, get moving again and head downhill (mostly). Pass through a bunch of running water (that mostly ends up in Tipperary Lake, and then Lower Cataract), on the way through to your campsite, which can be somewhere near the creek indicated (and near the trail back to Upper Cataract).)
Day hike to Upper Cataract (On the morning of day 2, pack up camp and stash your pack. Hustle to Upper Cataract/Cat Lakes and spend some time up there fishing, enjoying the views, etc. Then back down and pick up your pack, ready to head out.)
Up to Eaglesmeare (First day, park in Surprise Lake trailhead parking, and then backtrack the road a little, up to Eaglesmeare TH. From there, head all the way up to Eaglesmeare Lakes and enjoy some lunch.)
Day 2 hike down (Once reunited with your full pack, it's time to head down and out. You'll pass Surprise Lake on the way, and then it's all downhill, and kind of rough (trail is eroded pretty badly from rainfall). Once you get down to the bottom, you'll end up right at your car at Surprise Lake TH.)
